A couple of honest caveats. Mobile work depends on the weather — urethane needs to cure, and a downpour or a deep freeze can push us to reschedule for a proper result. And some jobs, especially those needing camera recalibration or specialty glass, are better done at the shop where we've got the right equipment. For the jobs we'll do mobile, yes — same glass, same urethane, same technician standards. The difference is only where it happens. We won't take a mobile job that we can't do to full quality outdoors, though; if your car needs the shop's tools or a controlled environment, we'll tell you.
We may need to reschedule. Fresh urethane doesn't bond well in heavy rain or extreme cold, and cutting corners there risks a leak or a weak seal — not worth it. We watch the forecast, and if the weather won't cooperate we'll move you to the next good window or invite you to the shop.
Usually about an hour for the adhesive to reach safe drive-away strength, though it depends on the product and the weather that day. We'll give you a specific time and a few simple do's and don'ts — like leaving a window cracked and skipping the car wash for a day or two.
